This is my 216th
Chinese Xieyi Painting and it is
two of my 386th pictures since 2003, the 16th picture that I have created in 2009 and the 18th painting in the US.
I created this picture first time in China Feb 23, 2007. I did not think that I had mastered the skill of peony painting, so, I took it come to the US September, 2008 and wished to repaint it during I am in the US.
My 124th Chinese Xiyi PaintingThis Saturday, I worked on it for about 5 hours. But, now, I do not think that its whole result is better than the old one.
My feeling sounds like to correct a picture is difficult more than to create a new one. I did feel this was a very hard time when I was correcting this painting.
Anyway, I still want to re-paint it as soon as I am in the emotion.
Even though I felt a little bit difficult to create the big birth with brushes and colors directly, and no one looked at my job, I kept the principle and my Chinese art teacher's words, to paint a Chinese Xieyi with my brushes directly -- I mean did not make any draft with pencil at the first. I wanted to train my own ability with the practice while kept an honest quality at any thing and any occasion.
