How are you? Have you had a good week? I do hope that everything is well with you and you are enjoying a relaxed weekend.

This week, I was tied by many meetings -- telephone meeting, TV meeting, manager meeting and about 50% of my business time is in the different meetings.

However, everyday, I keep reading 5 different newspapers, quickly for knowing something important in the industry, country and in the world. Also I have read about 200 pages of the book The World Is Flat. I like it more and more for it has opened a new window for me to see how the 3rd technology revolution has incorporated the global economy and how the Internet is changing the world economy structure.

When I read it, I have been thinking of what role we should play and how we should do to follow the times in the background of the new economy structure, even though we are just a little part of it. After all, just in the past 3 years, our company's international business and service has entered into North America, Europe and some Asian countries.

Even though I did not always write my researching report and I was painting in the nights of Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, I guess, I having been thinking something in my subconscious. So I often feel that some new ideas have jumped into my mind. In the morning of Saturday, when I was enjoying my third picture, a new idea suddenly jumped out -- We should adjust our management style on the dividing the work of the vice general managers. From managing different departments, according to their duty on TV, web sites and magazines and so on, it has to be changed as management on journalism, data, technology and administration. Because most of our business is made by news and data, our journalism and data business are two parts in same river. A piece of news is just news at the first second at the time it is published. From the 2nd second, it has changed to be data. Since almost every business department has its own news and data business. What should we do as the company management should make whole of the company's journalism is more quickly to be published and to make whole of the company's data business is to add its values of news via different data products.

So, the different work of the vice general managers should not be according to the different departments, but it should be done according to the different business. Then, every vice general manager can adjust all of the departments on their news or data business. Then, whole of the company's adjust work should be more efficient. The more thought, the more reasonable. So, with a big smile, I went to my office in the golden sunshine and to order my thoughts and to read and think something in the peaceful office building as I do usually on Saturday morning.

What are your thoughts about the incorporate of the world economy? Does your company have any international business?

I am just a learner on art, music, English, French and the work on the web site in my free time. Anyway, I would really like to do a little bit things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be An Electronic Bridge Of Culture Exchange, Friendship and Language Learning. During the process to help the others and to improve myself.
