How are you? Have you had a good weekend? I do hope that you are well and start a wonderful new week..
Last week, I put down my work and accompanied my son to have to have time to travel in Lugu Lake, Shangrila and Lijiang in Yunnan.
When he was in China, it was the hottest time. So, we took part in a group by a traveling agent to visit some places that were not too hot. We were lucky enough for it was raining always and the weather was cold there.
We flied to Yunnan Sunday morning and we visited Lugu Lake in the rain and we learned some cultures of Mosuo people (the last Maternal Society) by the Lake at the first.
On the road to Shangrila, we visited the biggest Gorge of the Yangtze River and one of the deepest Gorge in the world "the Tiger-Jumping Gorge". Walked through the ancient plank road that was built along a cliff; to visit one of the most special Tibetan Sutra Temples and the biggest Turned Sutra Tube in the world. We learned many things about Tibet cultures and even we saw some Tibetan doctors. After Looking at the wide Jitamu Grassland, we visited a typical Tibet family and the first National Park of China (Pudacuo).
We had a lovely night in a Tibet family, we sang and danced with them together and also, my son was chosen as the “Son in Law” of the family by the mother and “Got Marry ” with her beautiful girl in a game. Also, he was chosen to sing a song as a delegate of our team.
Then, we visited Lijiang Ancient City. An excited thing is that both of my son and I climbed up the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and reached the 4680 meter high of the snow mountains. That has proved that both of us are in a quite healthy situation because during the climbed process, we just used a half battle of oxygen and we gave the other bottle of oxygen of us to help a girl.
After we came back to Shenzhen, I invited my son to have a dinner in a restaurant and to sing in a MTV room, that I had rented for him to celebrate his birthday of 21 years old. Then, he cooked a meal for me on the weekend. Ha, when I tasted the delicious dishes that he had cooked for me first time: chop, shrimp, eggs and vegetable, I did feel that I was the happiest mother in the world. Whole of the tiredness and sickness (I had only slept for 5 hours within 48 hours before we started our traveling and I had been sick up in the first two days) has gone…
What a wonderful traveling we have had. We have not only visited so many beautiful views, but also, we have learned a lot from different cultures. The most important for me is that I have had a happy traveling with my only child, my lovely Son.
Have you been to China? Have you known anything about Mosuo people, Tibetan and Naxi nationality in Yunnan?
I am just a learner on art, music, English, French and the work on the web site in my free time. Anyway, I would really like to do a little bit things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be
An Electronic Bridge Of Culture Exchange, Friendship and Language Learning. During the process to help the others and to improve myself.
I do appreciate your understanding, directions and supports. I do hope to get your great help continuously now and in the coming time...
