How are you? I do hope everything is good with you and you have had a good weekend.
Today is the 334th day that I have been in the US. Friday morning, I attended my third examination of our 11th lesson in the US. I have passed it, but my score is not as high as I wished.
Most of my classmates will leave for China within the coming 2 weeks. I will be here until my art exhibition is finished.
Can you imagine? As soon as I handed in my pictures for the art exhibition on Wednesday, I suddenly felt extremely sleepy so that I thought I could sleep at any place, even though when I stood on the street.
However, I know this is not the time for sleeping since I have many things that I must do.
First of all, since I have taken most of my best paintings in the past 7 years to be exhibited and they will be left in the US after the art exhibition. So, I must think of a way to leave some copies for them. But, except the 3
Chinese Gongbi paintings, the other painting cannot be copied at all.
So, I am thinking of publishing a series books with some of my albums of paintings, traveling diaries, songbooks, portfolios of Chinese traditional elements with painting, music, literature and language together and the other things that have been in my mind for a long time since I was in Europe 2000, in Australia 2008 and came to the US last September... I wish I can not only take some professional knowledge back to China, but also I can bring some thing cross- cultures to my country and to the people from the other cultures... So, I am planning a new travel in the US during my art exhibition is on-going, I wish to complete my publishing outline and at least sign a vocal contract with a publishing house before I leave for China...
I am happy that some friends in China and in the US are helping me...
The second thing that I must do is to prepare my speech in the opening ceremony of my art exhibition. I am thinking and preparing what I should talk and demonstrate in the meeting site. So, I have completed my PPT and made some practice, too.
The most importance is still my studying in the university. I am thinking of doing something for our company after I go back to China, such as use the theory of supply chain to integrate our material flow, production flow, information flow and financial flow and so on... I will also have to read something, to complete the last assignment on Monday, the last investigation on Wednesday and the last examination on Friday...
Sincerely,
You Are Welcome to My Art Exhibition Friday Night, September 4, 2009 to September 28, 2009. I will be happy to see you there.
Future is bright, road is long and work is hard. I am confident with myself and I am sure that my dreams to be true some day...
Do you think that is possible? Do you have any dream at this time?
I am just a learner on art of painting, music, English and Chinese language, to work on the web site in my free time. I would really like to do a few things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be
an Electronic Bridge of Culture Exchange, Chinese Language Learning & Friendship making. To help the others while to improve myself.
I would like to appreciate your understanding, directions, supports and hope to get your friendly direction and help.
