Happy
Mid-Autumn of Festival!
Today is an important traditional Chinese Festival of Mid-Autumn that has a history for about 3000 years.
It was listed to be one of the Chinese national holidays by the central government in 2008. Since then, every Chinese resident has a 3 days' holiday; every family member goes back home to have a family reunion if they can.
Facing a so important festival of China, seeing the moon cakes everywhere, I am thinking that maybe I should introduce something behind it for you and all of the friends who are interested in Chinese cultures.
Therefore,
I have written an article already on the day.
You can hit the link below to see something relates to:
-- The origin of the Chinese Mid - Autumn of Festival.
-- The Main Food of the Chinese Mid - Autumn of Festival.
-- The Most Famous Legends of the Chinese Mid - Autumn of Festival
-- The Main Activities of the Chinese Mid - Autumn of Festival
Also, for not satisfying the painting that I had created last Sunday, I have re-created it for you and hope to bring you a smile...
I do hope that my effort will be some of help with you to learn Chinese cultures and understand more about the pictures on the boxes of Mid - Autumn Food and everywhere relates to the festival...
I am just a learner on art of painting, music and English, to work on the web site in my free time. I would really like to do a few things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be
an Electronic Bridge of Culture Exchange, Chinese Language Learning & Friendship making. To help the others while to improve myself.
I would like to appreciate your understanding, directions, supports and hope to get your friendly direction and help.
