Hi, friends, we could not have imagined that the Internet would change our lives so much; we could not have imagined that we would know someone from the opposite side of the ocean via the Internet. So today I would like to introduce some new Chinese sentences and new words about the Internet and hope it will be of some help to you in learning the Chinese language.

NEW SENTENCES:

No.134: -- 中国是世界上因特网人口与宽带用户数量的第二大国。
               --China is the second largest country in the      
                  world in terms of both Internet population and
                  the number of broadband users.

No.135: -- 截至２００６年６月３０日，中国因特网用户数量达到一亿二千三百万。
               -- The number of Internet users in China reached
                    123 million on June 30.
  
No.136: -- 今年上半年，中国新增网民接近一千二百万，是去年同期的两倍。
               -- The number of netizens was up by 12 million
                    during the first half of this year, twice as
                    much as the same period of last year.

No.137: -- 中国现有宽带用户七千七百万，约占因特网用户总数的2/3。
               -- The number of broadband subscribers totaled
                    77 million, nearly two thirds of the total
                    Internet population.
