This week was an important one for the Chinese economy in that
the Third China-U.S. Strategic Economic Dialogue (SED) was declared fruitful & and successful and resulted in the signing of
31 agreements covering a range of issues from food safety and product quality to the environment and energy. Also, on Thursday,
both sides agreed to beef up collaboration in the financial services sector.
