LISTEN TO THE TEXT I have not published this column for a while because of time problems and also because I have been thinking of how best to improve it. Today I am trying out a new style to introduce some new sentences about catching a bus or a train and I hope to hear your comments.
In Chinese, when we want to express the meaning of catching some vehicle, we usually say "Wo Gan Che", "Wo Gan Gong gongqichen", "Wo Gan Huozhe", "Wo Gan Feiji" and so on. The sentence pattern is as below:
Sentence Pattern No.0174:
我赶车 - I catch a bus ( or a train).
- Wǒ gǎn chē。
No.0175:
我要赶车 -Iwant to catch a bus (or a train).
- Wo yao gan che。
No.0176:
我要去赶车 - I am going to catch a bus (or a ttrain).
- Wo yao qu gan che。
Practice of Sentence Pattern Practice of No. 0174:
我赶车 - I catch a bus (or a train).
我赶火车 - I catch a train.
我赶公交车 -- I catch a bus
我赶飞机 -- I take an airplane.
我赶船 -- I take a ship.
Practice of No. 0175:
我要赶车 -Iwant to catch a bus ( or a train).
我要赶火车 -Iwant to catch a train.
我要赶公交车 -Iwant to catch a bus.
我要赶飞机 -Iwant to take an airplane
我要赶船 -Iwant to take a ship.
Practice of No. 176:
我要去赶车 -Iam going to catch a bus (or a train).
我要去赶火车 -Iam going to catch a train.
我要去赶公交车 -Iam going to catch a bus.
我要去赶飞机 -Iam going to take an airplane.
我要去赶船 -Iam going to take a ship.
