A New Choice - Shirley's 138th Friendly Greeting -- Sun, April 27, 2008

How are you? I do hope that you are well, have an easy and relaxed weekend.

This week (in fact, since I was robbed ), I often suffer the stomach-ache, but, I have been keeping working in the company and I have not stopped to learn art of painting, music and language for one day.

Now, I am facing a new choice again.

At as almost same time as last year, this Monday, I am lucky enough to be offered an opportunity to take part in a project that is supported by both of the Shenzhen government and a state government of a Western country -- to train senior managers for some big and middle size companies of Shenzhen in the Western country’s university as visiting scholar students for one year.

I was surprised to be informed by the project organizer. They are impressed of me and feel it was a pity that I gave up the same opportunity last year. They think that my qualification is suitable for the project and wish me to join it.

I am touched for their diligent work. I am thinking of their suggestions and to make a choice.

I have not discussed the thing with our company, because I have not made a decision yet. I would like, before thinking of it, to be clear and to know what the opportunity cost, benefit and negative is. What should I do to get the best result of the thing? To continue my current life and work style in China or to make some adjust and to re-arrange my work and life style via this opportunity?

Anyway, I will make the final decision before the first ten days of May.

How about you? Is there anything special in your work and life?

I am just a learner on that art of painting, music, calligraphy, languages and to work on the web site in my free time. I would really like to do a little bit things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be An Electronic Bridge Of Culture Exchange, Friendship and Language Learning. To help the others while to improve myself.

I appreciate your understanding, directions and supports. I do hope to get your friendly help...
