Sincere Blessing -- Shirley's 146th Friendly Greeting -- Sun, July 13rd,2008

How are you? Is every thing ok with you? I do hope that you are well and have an easy and relaxed weekend.

This is an extra busy week. Except daily work, I have organized the 5th yearly speech game as a part of the company enterprise culture. Around of the topic of "Dedication of Love in 2008" past through 2 times playing, 17 groups of people took part in the final and over 450 colleagues attended the activity on Saturday.

All players recited their speech content and most of them were accompanied by music, lantern slide, TV or cartoon films. Songs, collectivity reciting and band were plugged into the speeches. Innovation, collectivism and new technology became one of the bright scenery of the game.

As usual, we offered them professional makeup and directions. We rewarded everyone different certificate, bonus, and cup according to their work. All players, judges, clerks were attached different signs on their clothes. We will also make a DVD as a memory and to extend the enterprise culture.

After the speech, all colleagues and their family members were invited to watch a movie ? Hancock. All people who had come from the other offices and branches in the other cities were treated a dinner party. I did not watch the movie and I did not have the dinner for I did feel too tired. Whole of the Sunday, I attended a marketing meeting and a summarization meeting of the first half year.

In addition to work, I have also done a lot of things in my free time. I have invited my art and music teachers to have a dinner and to thank their hard work for me. I have attended a dinner of a couple of my best friends, to welcome their son came back home and to discuss his study in Beijing, Hong Kong or the other place. I have also seen a dentist, an optometrist and a traveling agent, to check my teeth, to order a pair of new glasses and to apply a visa. A piece of bad news is that the hard working on English has made the myopia of my eyes was deepened 50 degrees already.

A good thing is that today ? July 13, 2008 is my son’s 22nd birthday. Until now, he has been abroad for 6 years and he will graduate from his university this summer. Since the time of his graduation ceremony and my possible traveling have not been made sure, for avoiding the time crash, I have decided to see my son at the first. So, if there is nothing special, I will get my visa in 10 days. Then I will fly to him to discuss some thing about his development direction and life and work plan after he graduates for at least 1 week.

How about you? Do you have anything special in your work and life this week?
I am just a learner on that art of painting, music English and Chinese language, to work on the web site in my free time. I would really like to do a little bit things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be an Electronic Bridge of Culture Exchange, Language Learning & Friendship. To help the others while to improve myself.

I appreciate your understanding, directions and supports. I do hope to get your friendly help...
