Starting An Adventure With Grateful Heart- Shirley's 159th Friendly Greeting - Sat, Sep 28, 2008

How are you? I do hope that you are well and will have a good weekend.

Now it is 1:40 am on my side and I would like to leave for my traveling to the US in 6 hours at 7:30 am on Saturday morning.

For some reasons of my work and my health, I changed my ticket from September 26th to 28th. I had to pay $250 USD for the changing, but, I will have another 3 classmates with me together, so that my parents said that money deserved.

Thursday morning, our company announced the news that I would like to leave for the US for 1 year and had a manager meeting and a work lunch to bless me and say Good Luck with me. I had been worked until Thursday evening in the company.

I was busy with a grateful heart within the short 2 days to prepare a long time and long distance traveling. My heart is full of the warm from my motherland.

Today, a woman colleague has accompanied me to save something in the strongbox in a bank 5 minutes before the bank was closed. A woman boss of a little store offered her umbrella to me when she saw that I was walking in a heavy rain. A woman doctor came to my home at the last minutes to offer me some medicine. Many departments in the company wanted to invite me to have a lunch or dinner. Our cooperation company in N.Y. and Beijing offered their connecting ways in the US and would like to offer help at any time. The official of the Shenzhen Sponsor of our studying program offered a very considerate and excellent service ? just my dormitory, they did much work between the Ocean. Plus my cleaning lady and many messages or emails with bless from many friends from the other countries… I do feel warm in my heart and I would really like to cherish the great friendship from all of these friends, colleagues, cooperators. I would really like to do my best to learn something new and advanced in the other culture.

OK, time is too later to write and I would like to do my last checking and to prepare my new adventure.

How about you? Have you had anything special this week?
I am just a learner on that art of painting, music English and Chinese language, to work on the web site in my free time. I would really like to do a little bit things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be an Electronic Bridge of Culture Exchange, Language Learning & Friendship. To help the others while to improve myself.

I appreciate your understanding, directions and supports. I do hope to get your friendly help...
