Cherish My Luck -- Shirley's 265th Friendly Greeting, August 1, 2010

How are you? Have you had a good weekend?

I often think that I am one of the luckiest people in the world. I have gotten so much care for, help, support, friendship and love from my bosses, colleagues, professors, tutors, friends and family members since I started to fight with the sickness last November, when I was looking after my passed away mother who was suffering her cancer, I have gotten about 2,000 letters from my friends and readers from 32 countries...

All of these letters makes me feel warm and live in a positive emotion with an appreciated heart. All of these letters have helped me have the courage to overcome the difficulties and sickness, to keep working on my position as well as possible, to keep doing exercise to overcome the sickness, to keep learning art of painting, music and language as much as possible... even, to keep having a long distance traveling to USA, to have my second, third art exhibition, to offer my 14th -- 35th demonstrations and workshops... by the so much help from the local American people, in the short 4 weeks in USA, I have not only had an "American mother", a "temporary son", but also, I had some opportunity to leave some of my learning works there to open a window of Chinese paintings in the US...

So, since this weekend, instead of writing something by myself only, I would also like to publish some of the beautiful letters and let us share so much beauty, intelligence and wonderful feelings, ideas and suggestions inside, to enjoy our souls and to bring you a big smile and some thinking...

I will cherish my luck and friendship from all of the friends and you. I will not delete any letter before I have written back, even though I can only write a short note and it will not be in time as usual, I will certainly read every letter and respond each one as long as I can...

I am looking forward to hear the responding from you and hope to know your opinions about luck.

Do you have anything lucky this week?

I am just a learner on art of painting, music and English, to work on the web site in my free time. I would really like to do a few things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be an Electronic Bridge of Culture Exchange, Chinese Language Learning & Friendship making. To help the others while to improve myself.

I would like to appreciate your understanding, directions, supports and hope to get your friendly direction and help.

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, you are welcome to write to shirley@ebridge.cn or shirley004@yahoo.com, or to publish your opinions in the forum.
