A Short Note-- Shirley's 352nd Friendly Greeting, May 20, 2012

How are you? Have you had a good week? Are you enjoying your weekend? I do hope you have and you are. :-)

On my side, except attending lessons Wednesday and Saturday, base on the drafts I had made, this week, I have re-painted 5 Chinese Xieyi paintings.

I am quite tired physically so that I often feel my legs soft when I go out of the classroom after working for 12 -14 hours, with the edema that comes back to my fingers again, I am very happy in my heart. I have finally completed them in time.

There are many pities on these paintings. I do want to re-paint them once more since a Chinese Xieyi Painting cannot be corrected as soon as a brush is painted on the paper, and at least 2 professors asked us to paint every paint 50 times, then to maste it totally. Anyway, I will have no time to work on them before this term is finished. I have to focus myself on the other 8 assignments, to make preparative for the graduate exhibition and collection of the graduation works.

According to the arrangment of the school, almost all my classmates and shoolfellows will go to the Grand Canyon of the Yellow River to paint from the natural since next Wednesday, May 23, 2012. Because of the health problem, I am gong to work in the arboretum, garden and classroom in Beijing.

Ok, it is 2:38 am on my side already, and I will have lesson at 9:00am. Therefore, this is just a short note to say hello to you and to share what I have done this week. I do hope you find that I have made a little bit progress and bring you a big smile. :-)

How about you? Do you have anything special to share this week?

I am just a student on Art of Painting, Music, English and Management, to work on the web site in my free time. I would really like to do a few things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be an Electronic Bridge of Inter-Art & Cross - Culture Exchange, Chinese Language Learning & Friendship Making. To help the others while to improve myself.

I would like to appreciate you for your understanding, directions, supports and help.

If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, you are welcome to write to shirley@ebridge.cn or leave your message on Message Board.
