The 14th Friendly Greeting From Shirley, China, Sun, Nov 20, 2005

How are you? Is everything well with you? I do hope you are well and you are enjoying your weekend. 

The biggest thing in my free time this week is that I started my lesson on Midi by a music company and I ordered a YAMAHA keyboard with 88 keys as my tool to make digital music. Even though there is a professional keyboard for Midi, anyway, it can not sound and it must connect to a computer to sound, so, I chose a YAMAHA keyboard for it has the best sound and richest tones and I wanted to have an " electronic band". :-)

I am very excited for I am entering a new field to learn an advanced technology to create and to transmit music with a computer via digital way and I will have an "electronic band" in the near future. However, I also know it is not an easy thing to master it, because Midi is in fact a Musical Instrument Digital Interface. To master the softer ware is not difficult; to master the way to create music is not easy. So, I will have a very long and hard road to go on my music learning.

This week, I also tried to start a new topic for you on the web site ? to talk something a bout Chinese movie. I do hope you are interested in it . :-)

Note: I am sorry that I forgot saving my file that I had corrected before sending my last message to you, so that there were some wrong words in it, so, I have corrected them and send it once more.I do hope that I have not made any trouble for you.
I am just a learner on art, music, English and the work on the web site. Anyway, I would really like to do a little bit things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be An Electronic Bridge Of Culture Exchange, Friendship, and Language Learning. I am so lucky that I have got many directions and help from many friends, below are some good lessons from friends, I do hope you enjoy them:
