Professor Man Weiqi - Associate Dean of Chinese Painting School at Chinese National Academy of Arts, who taught us Chinese landscape painting and be in charge of our study in Beijing.
In the past 3 years, it was him who commented all of the works of the students who were major in Chinese landscape painting and led them to paint from the nature in different mountains and over Yellow River in Fujian, Henan, Gansu and the suburb of Beijing.
Also, it was him who commented some of my paintings, aim at my situation and me to choose some masters to learn in Chinese art history, to be my advisor of my publication and to supervisor the road that I have gone, and to correct me in case I went on a wrong way.
So, I would like to say, Professor Man Weiqi was the most important leader and professor who gave me most help and directions, and ensured that I have gone on a right way with the right style on my dream seeking road.
With so many appreciations, I would like to visit him before I left for Beijing, but, because some special reason, I must go back Shenzhen as soon as possible, therefore, I do feel sorry to him. I am going to visit him as long as I go back Beijing some day in the future.
As a student, with a grateful heart, I do hope Professor Man Weiqi, his family members and staff will be healthier, luckier and more successful.
