I knew Ms. Robin Lowe, the director of Brick City Gallery of Missouri State University in 2009, at my first art exhibition in the Creamery Art Center, Springfield Art Region Council, Sep 4, 2009.
That time, she asked to buy the only Chinese Baimiao in the art works with 200 USD, because I would like to donate the income of the art exhibition to the local disabled people for I would like to memory my first American Teach -
Mr. Charlie K , therefore, I pleased her to talk with my sponsors. Then we knew each other. :-)
Then in 2010, before my art exhibition and during the art exhibition in the PSU gallery , It was she offered the most help May, 2010. Wrote the advertisement words, decorated the exhibition hall, found workers to fix the light, hung up every paintings by herself up and down, even, she did not forget to carry a big branch peonies from her own garden on the day to hold the reception.
With what she did for me, I really have learned how an American artist and educator to work with an extra responsible work style...
With a grateful heart, I went to visit her in her gallery Friday Morning, Nov 16, 2013. We had a good talking and communication about Chinese and Western arts.
I do hope Ms. Robin Lowe and her family members will be happier, luckier and more successful.
