A 19 year old girl Lisa Luu, a music student in Drury University, whose parents from Vietnam sat next to me in the Bible lesson in the Springfield Chinese Christian Church, she was so lovely to help me when I could not find the pages that the pastor said according to a different version of Bible. Then as soon as she knew that I could paint, she called me next day and told me that she wanted to learn Chinese painting and Chinese language from me.
With a very delight heart, I sent her my book, DVD and album of painting and welcome her to come to me.
Now, after learning 3 lessons, she has been able to recite a Chinese poem and completed her first Chinese Song Dynasty Baimiao Painting. She told me that she wanted to learn another Chinese Poem and another painting before I leave for China.
