As a graduate of Beijing Dance College and Chinese National Academy of Arts, Mr. Wu Tong who is the Associate Dean of Teaching School of Chinese Painting School at Chinese National Academy of Arts has a wide range of knowledge and various skills and a cross- disciplinenary thought style, not only encourages us to learn painting itself, but also, he asks us to learn calligraphy, music, dance and so on, to absorb the knowledge from different art subjects.
In the morning, Oct 15, 2014, Mr. Wu Tong gave us a music and dance lecture.
-- We watched some wonderful Chinese dances and be introduced something about the relationship between Chinese dances and Chinese calligraphy.
-- We listened to the music 1812 Sinfonia by Tchaikovsky and to feel the change of the rhythms.
During the time, I thought of something about paintings, I do feel music is similar to painting on fixing its structure with some intensive or extended rhythm according to the change of the feelings, emotions and maybe stories... :-)
-- We enjoyed a part of opera Puccini by Domingo.
-- Also we watched some singing snatch of Luciano Panotti...
His lesson was started at 9:00 a.m. until 12:30 a.m. still some students did not want to leave...
