This is my 342nd
Chinese Xieyi Painting and
my 640th painting since 2003, the 11st assignment in Chinese National Academy of Arts since Oct 7, 2011.
I did not think that I did a good job on last peony painting, therefore, I tried a new one today. I felt the painting sounded like better, but my calligraphy was too bad and my tutors did not allow me to write in English on my Chinese paintings.
I followed my tutors and I would like write my name in English in the school, but, as soon as I leave from the school, I will write it again(just a joke). :-)
Anyway, according to one of my tutors -- Mr. Wu Tong's direction, at the same night, I started to learn to write a new Chinese Calligraphy -- Shou Jin Ti that was created by Chao Ji/ Song Hui Zong (1082β1135) who was the 8th emperor in the Northern Song or Earlier Song Dynasty (960-1127) .
How do you think of this painting? Do you enjoy it?
