This is my 466
Chinese Xieyi Painting and
my 877h painting since 2003, the 273rd assignment of Chinese National Academy of Arts.
On Thursday, April 18, after attending the lesson of Professor Li Yang - Associate Dean of Chinese Painting College at China Central Academy of Fine Arts and also an research of Chinese National Academy of Arts, I started to paint this painting in the afternoon.
Almost classmates who saw it, said Wow! So Beautiful and Mr. Wu Tong - Associate Head of Teaching Department of Chinese Painting College at CNAA commented it with 3 Very Good. :-)
Then, two of my former classmates in 2011 -2012 class year-- Mr. Xu Zhiyong and Mr. Man Yunlin who came back the school to paint the album of paintings, came to my classroom to see me. They were quite surprised my big progress, and both of them suggested me to stay in the school continuously. :-)
Here are their comments:
Mr. Xu Zhiyong -- Manage of Qiqihaer City Art Gallery said: "You are in the stage of uplifted, instead of leaving from the school at this time, you should continue to stay in the college."
Mr. Man Yunlin said: β To be honest, when you just came to CNAA, I did not think you could paint, but now, I can, CNAA should be the best place for you to continue to study, no matter its academy atmosphere or treats their students."
What they said really touched my heart. Yes, I would not be chosen to take part in this job if I was studying in the other place. After all, besides the former students, now, in the Teaching Department of Chinese National Academy of Arts, there are about 80 students, among us, there are at leas 3 art associate professors, 1 art professor, a group of art teachers and a lot of wonderful artists...
The fact is: When my tutor Mr. Lu Wenqing painted 7 paintings, I could just paint 1. So, I do know how big hope of the college to me and how they would like to help me and my cross-culture dream and project.
With so much appreciation to the school, I have not only completed this painting, but also, I have known and seem my weaknesses and the distance from my tutors and excellent classmates.
I would really like to do my best to make bigger progress.
How do you think of this painting? Do you enjoy it?
