The left picture is my 85th Chinese Xieyi -- Freehand Brushworks, I painted it in my art lesson on Wednesday evening. The right picture is my 86th one and I created it on Thursday night.
After I felt that I could paint a mum freely, I wanted to learn something new and wanted to have some new ability to paint the other flowers with my brushes freely.
Plum blossom painting is my weakness -- I was a little bit afraid of painting the small flowers indeed... Anyway, since it is one of the most famous 10 Chinese flowers. Every student who is learning Chinese style picture had to learn it. So, I learned to paint it in my art lesson Wednesday, too.
During I was painting this picture, I felt that maybe I should not paint the plum blossom bole through whole of the picture. Also, my right mountains, village and the stone parts seem like on a too high position and it makes this picture lacks the necessary roomage feelings. I mean that my original meaning was to make the plum blossoms to be near and the other part is on a far away...
So, as soon as the art lesson, I started to think that how to correct my picture.
Thursday night, I created my 86th Xieyi picture. This time, I corrected my plum blossom a lot. However, I still painted the right part too high ? my piano teacher came to my home to offer her lesson during I was painting on Thursday evening. So, I re-started my painting after the pisno lesson and when I was painted the right part, she was just standing by me and talking with me… So, I made a joke to her that she was the reason that my right part was too high… :- )
Also, I should not make the houses to face the borders. My flowers are no alive on the picture.
After realizing that my mind was not very clear about how to pain a plum blossom, so, I went to buy some art books to see how the experts said about plum blossoms painting Friday evening and I created
my 87th Chinese Xieyi picture in the night. I do hope that you have found some progress on that picture.
What I ask to myself is to make a little bit progress every day… Do you also ask yourself to do that same thing?
