This is my 106th Chinese Xieyi -- freehand and brushworks painting in my art lesson Wednesday night. :-)
This is the second time that I learned to paint a pheasant (
the first one is here ), and the first time I learned to paint a morning glory with a brush directly. :-)
My teacher gave me 85 marks and thought that I should not make the flowers over and below in the same line, I should make them on different line, then, the picture will have more changing... :-) I do agree with it. :-)
Also, I do feel that I have not mastered the way to paint the wings of a bird, the right wing of this bird is not good yet -- I was not allowed to make any draft before I painted. So, I often can not master my brushes well and the wing seems like a little bit longer. :-)
How do you think of this picture, do you like it?
