This is my 109th Chinese Xieyi-- Chinese freehand and brushworks that I created in my art lesson on Wednesday. :-)
My teacher thought that the biggest problem on my color usage is that I often use too bright color, so that I had to spend so much time to correct the colors of
my 23rd Chinese Gongbi Painting from too green to be dark.
For helping my color more elegance, he started to teach me to paint Chinese Wash Painting-- to paint just with water and Chinese black ink.
Anyway, I used a little bit the other colors on this picture still.
My teacher gave me 85 marks for the color on the back of the bird looks like too "dead" there is no any change. :-) The guava's seeds seem like too regular and the insect is too big. :-) I do agree with the comments.
How do you think of this picture? Do you agree with my teacher?
