This is my 149th Chinese Xieyi Painting-- Freehand brushworks that I created in my art lesson Thursday night.
After looking at
my 9th combinative painting -- Intone A Willow that I have created for a classical Chinese poem, my art teacher pointed that my painting skill can be given 90 marks, but, the structure of this painting could only be give 70 marks because the two parts of the willow and the birds lacks a connection.
For correcting this problem, my teacher asked me to paint a new picture and to feel how to connect the two parts of the basket of the fruit and the free with the leaves and the vines...
My teacher thought that I have done a good work on this picture to correct the problem in my past painting. So, I was given 90 marks. :-)
