This is my 262nd
Chinese Xieyi Painting and
my 486th painting since 2003. Also, it is the 13rd (32nd) painting (Practice) that I have created in 2010.
In May 2009, a Chinese delegation came to the US and had a talking with some of our Chinese students abroad. I did not know what I should talk with them until I thought that maybe I should show some of my paintings to them -- to make them know that we were living and studying well.
That was the first time that my professors and local American people knew that I could paint and I had been keeping painting when I was in the US. And one of American friends hoped that I paint a pheasant for him. I said Yes. But, unitl now, I just found a time to do that in my Chinese New Year's Holiday.
I did not very satisfy this painting for I feel that seems like the flowers too big and the room that I gave the pheasant too small.
My Chinese professor thought even though there is something that can be improved, that is basically ok and I have scored 90.
How do you think of this painting? Do you like it
