This is and
my 603rd painting since 2003, the 326th
Chinese Xieyi Painting, the 66th Landscape ( the 10th Chinese Ink Landscape), and my 90th assignment in China Central Academy of Fine Art.
Today is a special day. I have completed the last part of my first Chinese long scroll landscape painting that is 812.00cm (319.68 inches) x 24.5cm (9.64inches).
I started this painting on March 23 and finished it on May 22. Within the 2 months, except the normal study and painted more than 30 little bird and flower painting with Mogu style, went to Shandong province to have the lesson of painting from the nature, as long as I had time, I worked on it.
Meanwhile, I have been fighting with the sickness.
In the past 2 weeks, every day, I went to the hospital to accept the treatments with Chinese traditional medicinal style and Western medicinal style, looked after my son’s life in his vacation in China, cooked meals, washed clothes and did every thing that I thought I should do for him, while I read art theory book when I was waiting for in a line or the doctors left the needles in my body in the hospital, then I painted according to what I had learned from the books, before my son got up or some food on the gas… as a rest, study and an enjoyment… :-)
The more painting, the more I enjoy painting, except the colored painting, I enjoy the Chinese ink painting more and more. I do have felt the special charm of the single color. : -)
I know very clear, there are many problems in my first long scroll painting. I would like to mount it with some damask silk, and then I will bring it to my landscape painting professors and hope to hear their comments and directions.
With a happy heart, today, I would like to attach whole of the long scroll below. You have to connect them together in your mind. :-)
How do you think of my first long scroll. Do you enjoy it?
