This is my 399th
Chinese Xieyi Painting and
my 727th painting since 2003, the 118th assignment in Chinese National Academy of Arts.
In the last two weeks in CNAA, I made a plan for myself -- to master the way to paint wistaria. So, I tried to paint some big size wisteria for I wanted to paint it as many as possible, try to have the ability to paint wisteria independently.
I drafted this painting July 13, but I flew to Wuxi to see my father. Therefore, I continued to paint it in the afternoon July 14. However, when I colored it, I just found that I was working on a paper for the Chinese Gongbi.
Oh my God, I had to re-draft so that I completed on July 15.
As soon as I found my tutor Mr. Lu Wenqing in the office, I asked him to comment it. Mr. Lu told me that the birds a little bit grey. I should paint them with more layers. I should do the same thing on the flowers. I did remember what he said and tried to improve my work in my nest painting. :-)
How do you think of it? Do you enjoy it?
