This is my 1557 painting the 152nd Sketch / Painting From the Nature
This is my first Lamei （Chimonanthus praecox / Wintersweet） sketching / painting from nature in Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province on Jan 10, 2023. Originally, I had no any plan to paint a bird, however, when I nearly finished it and prepared to left for home, I saw a lovely little bird, which had a golden chest and belly and black feather and it was jumping on a tall tree. Suddenly I had an idea, I wanted to add it on my painting. So, I did.
If you were me, would you color it? To be honest, I would also want to do it. However, the Lamei /Chimonanthus praecox / Wintersweet 's flower season is too short for me. So, I would really like to catch it and hope to sketch/ paint from the nature as much as possible, and then, when I have time, I will review them once more and color them then.
