This is my 1470th Chinese painting since 2003,the 867thChinese Xieyi Painting, my 707th Assignment (the 309th Painting as a candidate for my Degree of Master of Fine Arts ) in Chinese National Academy of Arts. Nov 18, I got an inform of the Art Department of the Graduate at Chinese National Academy of Arts that my paper defense has been arranged at the time with other students who are going to graduate in 2021 together. That means it will be in May, 2021. If it happened last year, I would be worrying about a lot of things, but now, it is full of appreciations in my heart. I would like to thank the God for I am still alive and come back my motherland safely during the world is covered by the Covid-19, and I would like to thank my school for giving me some more time to catch the lose during I was in the US and couldn't touch necessary data in Chinese books and journals, especially those ancient books...that's why, I have been working hard. Anyway, on Nov 26, after reading a part of Yi, which is one of the hardest but an ancient book of wisdom, I wished to have a short break, so, after playing piano for a while, I painted this painting. How do you think of this painting? Do you like it? If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, welcome to write to shirley@ebridge.cn . :-) ---Shirley Yiping Zhang Nov 28, 2020 |
