This is my 57th
Chinese Mogu Painting and
my 1216th painting since 2003,my 514th Assignment & the 104th One in the 2nd Phase of Cihnese National Acadmey - the 145th painting in the US & 23rd painting in my 7th American Travel Feb 20, 2017.
After trying with Chinese Mogu and Chinese Baimiao style, I created this painting as my 3rd test with mixed Chinese Gongbi and Xieyi Painting Style, for I wanted to find the most suitable technique for my first for
the First Map of My American Cultural Map Series , which I had designed in Beijing in 2016.
Then I sent the three pictures with three different techniques to my supervisor at Chinese National Academy of Art -- Professor Jianshan Mu who was a former Professor in the USA to hear his advice.
He told me the Mixed Chinese Gongbi and Xieyi is the best choice. I am very glad for his advice and my idea are same. So, I am going to use this kind of technique to complete my first American Cultural Map.
How do you think of this painting, do you enjoy it? Do you think it is the best choice?
