This is my 560th
Chinese Xieyi Painting and
my 1030th painting since 2003, the 398th assignment of Chinese National Academy of Arts.
I had painted this painting 4 times but I had no anyone in my hands before I started it this time. For both of the subjects red-crowned crane and birthday - peach on the painting symbolize lucky and longevity and to combine them together is one of the best birthday gifts, all the 4 paintings had been sent out as gifts.
One of them was sent to the Chinese Program of Missouri State University for its 5th birthday in May, 2012.
Therefore, I tried to paint it once more as a practice and also for I myself wants to have it in my own hands.
I was glad for many classmates thinking the lines on my painting wonderful and one of my tutor Mr. Lu Wenqin thought I did a good job on it.
How do you think of this painting? Do you enjoy it?
