This is my 708th
Chinese Xieyi Painting and
my 1214th painting since 2003and My 512nd assignment and 103rd painting in the study of the second phase as a candidate for Master of Fine Arts of Chinese National Academy of Arts.
Also, it is the 142nd painting I have painted in the US 2008 to 2017 & the 20th painting in my 7th American Travel.
This is the 4th painting I did in 2017, and I completed on the Chinese New Year's Day.
Today, now, when I am writing this note here, I can still feeling a little bit uncomfortable on my heart area, therefore, I am trying to complete my jobs for today as soon as possible. Do you know why?
I drafted this painting since Jan 21, but I completed it last night, Jan 29, for I have experienced something hard twice.
After finishing the draft, suddenly, I felt my heart uncomfortable, it seemed like a big stone pressing on the area of my heart and I could feel my heart beating and sometimes trembling. I knew the bad signal for I had had a similar experience in 1993, after working on creating the first Statistic Frame of Chinese Securitas Markets with 6 report series for my pages for a new national newspaper -- Securitas Times for 48 hours continuously... so, quickly, I put down all of the jobs and lied down on the bed, after sleeping for over 20 hours, I felt better. Then as soon as came back from my English lesson, I had another sleep for 7 hours, then, I felt much better... Then a serious headache hit me Tuesday to Friday…
Anyway, since it is not the problem of heart, I did not worrying about myself, and I kept working on the painting as long as I could, and I completed it on the Chinese New Year's Day.
Sequentially, I am trying to find my own style to color the painting. On the surface, you see it is made of Chinese ink, but, except for drawing it, I did not use any Chinese ink to color it.
What colors have I used? Can you find it out? :-)
After checking the painting online, my supervisor Professor Mu Jiashan said “ It’s good, the quality of your painting has been improved. ”
How do you think of this painting? Do you enjoy it?
If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, welcome to write to shirley@ebridge.cn,you can also publish your opinions on Message Board . :-)
