LISTEN TO SHIRLEY PLAY & SING THE POEM 
After I came back from
Zhang Jia Jie National Park, I have some new understanding to the poems of landscape by these excellent poets. Today, I would like to introduce a new Chinese classical poem by Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai --
Du Zuo Jingting Shan -- Sitting Alone Below Jingting Mountain.
Li Bai he had written many poems about landscape, most of them are very long. So, thinking of the recording's time, I have been keeping introducing Jue Ju -- a Chinese four-lined verse with five or seven characters to each line for you.
Li Bai is the poet who often imagined the natural things, a mountain or a river as a person who has life. So, he often wrote some poem to express his feelings inside to a mountain or a river.
In this poem, he wrote out how the Jingting Mountain and him to admire each other as two good friends.
As usual, I wrote a piece of music to match it and hope my effort will be a little bit help to you to know more about Chinese culture.
