LISTEN TO THE TEXTLISTEN TO SHIRLEY TO PLAY & TO SING THE POEM Saturday morning, I was running out of the door in the golden sunshine, then, I run back quickly in a light rain. :-) As soon as I entered my home, the rain changed so heavy so that it was difficult to go out of the house again. In the summer season in my city, it often rains suddenly. The light rains have really brought us a clean city, to make the weather in a wonderful C degree and it is affecting the environment we are living ... :-)
Today, I would like to introduce a little poem that was written by Tang Dynasty (A.D.618 - A.D.907) poet Wang Jia: Yu Qing -- The Sunshine Again after Raining, to express how a rain is affecting the view in a little garden.
As usual, I created and played a piece of music to match it and I do hope what I have done for you will be a little bit help to you to learn Chinese language and to know more about Chinese culture. :-)
MAIN MEANING OF THE POEMLISTEN TO SHIRLEY TO PLAY & TO SING THE POEM I saw the pistils among the flowers before a rain;
there are no any flowers under the leaves after the rain.
Bees and butterflies are flying over the wall,
I can not help to suspect that the spring scenery is just in the neighbor’s home.
