Combined Paintingthat I have created / painted for Chinese Classical Poetry, and
my 674th painting since 2003 ; also, it is my 50th assignment in Chinese National Academy of Arts.
This is the second time I painted a new painting to match the poem Chi Le Ge - Chi Le Song by Hu Lǜjin Fu in the Southern and Northern Dynasties ( 420 -589) .
I worked on it with a serious cold last week, for I wanted to re-write the music, re-translated the poem and re-sing it, therefore, I just put it on the web site tonight.
After I completed it, my tutors gave me a same directions -- I should reduce something on the painting; it's better to be divided to be two paintings; the constructor was not good yet...
I did feel they have pointed something I must improve; therefore, I will try to create a new one latter.
Below is the translation of the poem and it has been checked and corrected by Mr. Mike J from Britain and Mrs. Xiaogang Z. from China. It will be checked by another English tutor from USA once more before I enter in the recording studio.
The Main Meaning of the PoemChi Le Song
By by Hu Lǜjin ( Southern and Northern Dynasties 420 -589)
Chi le plain,
Lies at the foot of the Yinshan Mountains,
The sky is like domed yurt, enveloping the earth.
The dark-green heavens are vast, the wilds boundless.
When the wind blows the grass low,
The cattle & sheep appear there...
