This is my 198th
Chinese Xieyi Painting and it is
one of my 358 pictures since 2003, the 53rd
painting that I have painted in 2008.
Also, it is the 1st painting that I created during I am studying in the
College of Business Administration of Missouri State University in the US.
Since I painted my last paining in China on Sep 24, I have not painted for 9 days for my long distance traveling. But, the love to art of painting does not be reduced at all. So, today, when I feel that I can live here with some basic life condition, before I have time to bought and fix my TV, wash machine, table, before I have filled my refrigerator with food enough, before I have had a painting board, I started my painting practice.
I can buy or fix the other things later; I can not stop painting for a long time -- 9 days is really too long to wait.
So, I carried the only desk in my apartment into the kitchen, made it near the water and be in a brighter light. I cut my paper smaller so that it can be opened on the desk.
I wanted to paint a picture with white and red. When I opened my color boxes, I just found that in my 150 tubes’ colors, there are only 4 tubes white. Oh, my God, white would be the colors that I need most. How did I do that? I do not know at all. For saving the white color, I changed my idea to paint with the other colors. After painting 2 pictures with green and yellow, and threw them into the rubbish bag, I found back my feelings and created this one
My painting condition is poor, my heart is singing at this moment. After all, I am keeping my Chinese painting learning and created in a foreign country during my studying time.
For me, painting is something that I love from my blood, so, no matter what will happen in the future, I am going to keep it.
Do you know? Just for carrying my Chinese painting tools, I was punished 250 USD by the Airways. Now, I do feel lucky, because I have had the basic condition to work. It is really deserve to be punished. Right? :-)
How do you think of my new painting? Do you enjoy it?
