It is my 237th
Chinese Xieyi Painting and
my 407th picture since 2003, the 37th picture that I have created in 2009 and the 38th painting in the US.
Wednesday noon, as soon as I went out of the classroom, Army and Kathy told me that Sunday is our English teacher in the local church ? Ms. Lynn’s Birthday, they wanted to send her a Chinese painting as her birthday gift, and they wanted me to offer a picture.
I do have many pictures, but, I never easily send a picture that I do not satisfy to anyone else. So, as I had done for my two religion teachers ?
got up at 5:00am and created two new paintings for them. I specially created a new painting for Lynn Wednesday night.
I worked until 2:00am, I felt happy in my heart. Because, I really thought that Lynn is the teacher whom I wanted to create a painting for her.
Last October, when our Chinese students just reached the US, language became our biggest problem to live in the totally strange environment. Just at this time, our tutor Ms. Anna informed us that the college of Business Administration has connected some church and they would offer us a free English lesson for us in a church and the teachers are a couple of wife and husband name Lynn and Joe
So, since November 5, 2008 until now, every Sunday, Joe would drive a microbus or a car to pick up our Chinese students before the lesson, then send us go back home, for whole of the year, both of two English teachers work hard for us and never stopped once even though in the coldest and icy winter...
For my time problem, I have been there just twice, but, the alive and positive lesson styles of Lynn has impressed me very much…
Even though I do not satisfy this works 100% yet, this is my heart and respect to our respected English teacher.
I do hope Lynn would enjoy her birthday gift and have a happy birthday. I do hope both of Lynn and Joe happy, healthy and lucky forever.
