This is my 251st
Chinese Xieyi Painting and
my 474th painting since 2003.Also, it is the 1st painting that I have painted in 2010.
Jan 5, 2010 is a meaningful and special day in my life.
After learning hard for 7 years, I got two highest Grade Certificates on Chinese Xieyi Painting and Chinese Gongbi Painting by the Ministry of Culture of China -- I was given two Certificates of Arts Graded Examination of China with the 10th grade by the Graded Examination Center of China Art Science Technology Research Institute on Nov 10, 2009.
When I got the two Certificates from my Chinese art professor, I was so happy that I could not help smiling with tears in my eyes.
I did not know what I should say at that time indeed. I am going to prepare a big Red Bag for my current professor while I am going to write something for my late first American art teacher, too.
I appreciate my current art professor -- Mr. Tao for his hard working for me for about 7 years; I missed my late American teacher -- Mr. Charlie K. for he has guided me to re-go on the art learning road. I would really like to return them with working harder and to create something best.
Even though I felt very tired and hunger -- usually, my lesson started at 6:00pm or 6:30pm, I left from my office at 5:30pm. I had no time to have my dinner before my lesson. Even though I could not help dozing when my teacher was talking with me, I asked my teacher gave me 3 minutes to relax, then, I created the orchid painting in my lesson -- the one below on the right. :-)
Anyway, I did not satisfy my own job. So, I got up at about 5;00am. and I created the second one before I went to my office.
How do you think of my new orchid paintings? Which one is better in your opinion?
