LISTEN TO THE TEXTLISTEN TO SHIRLEY PLAY & SING THE POEM
Friday is one of important Chinese traditional festivals -- the Mid - Autumn Festival. This is also the time that all of the family to reunite. People usually sit together to eat Moon cakes and to enjoy the bright moon. The round moon cakes on the table and the round moon in the sky symbolize all of the family to be reuniting and be happy.
At the special time, I got some telephones from my family from inland and abroad; I got a best regard from the family of my dear former American art and music teacher's and many good wishes from my colleagues and friends.
With a grateful heart, I would like to introduce a new Chinese classical poem by Tang Dynasty poet Li Bai for you.
This poem has expressed a wide heart of the poet to treat the world. Even though he was drinking alone, he is still happy, humor with a very optimism. :-) I enjoy this positive life attitude and this open and clear heart. :-)

There is a pot of wine in the flowers, I am drinking it alone and there is no any bosom friend with me, Lifting my cup of wine to invite the bright moon, plus my own shadow, ha, now we have had three people together... :-)
