Hi, friends, have you seen the view that a ray of sunset in a river is making a half of the water green as emerald, and the other half red as ruby. Have you seen the landscape the sunset is still on the West sky and the moon has risen on the East heaven?

Anyway, I have felt them in my mind because of a classical poem by Tang Dynasty poet 白居易 target=_ blank>Bai Juyi (772―846). :-)

Maybe for too enjoying the little poem, I have created a piece of music to match it just for about 20 minutes and I have written a Chinese calligraphy for the poem as well. However, I used a lot of time to record it.

I reallty hope that my effort will be a little bit help to you to learn Chinese culture and to improve your Chinese language level.

A ray of setting sun is spreading in the water,   
A half of the river is green as emerald,
the other half of the river is red as ruby.
What a lovely early September night it is!
The dews on the grass seem like pearls,
the moon on the sky looks like a bow...
