I did not satisfy with my singing of Chinese version after I put my song on the web site on Nov 3, so I tried to re-sing and re-record it next day. Now I put it on the web site and hope you think that I have made a little bit progress. :-)

Last Wednesday noon, in my lunch time, my new vocal music teacher came to my home to offer me a lesson that was missed Tuesday night. I asked why almost in every Chinese music book, I can find the song Qumandi?
She told me that this song has combined Chinese classical music and modern music's characteristics, to enlarge Chinese traditional 5 tones to be 7 tones. Also, it has learned something from Western music. On music language, there are quiet and move in it, there are short sentences to express a delight heart and also there are so long music sentences to express the deeply feelings. So, it is a song that every Chinese vocal music student should learn. It is a folk, but, it has a strong art songs taste. So, it is also her favorite song, as soon as there was an art song concert, she would like to sing it.
According to her plan, I should continue to learn it next week, but for I so enjoy it that I could not help to translate it and would like to show you this weekend.
As you do, Chinese people also think rose is the sign of love. But, in this song, the lyrics writer thought his/her lover is lovely and beautiful more than a rose. Just like a Qumandi flower in the roses clusters. So, he/she wish the breeze and singing to take his love into the garden to be with his/her Qumandi together... Anyway, I have not really found the lovely flower that is beautiful more than roses yet. :-)
I know that my English and singing skill are not well yet. But, I would like to keep learning and improving myself via the continuously translating and singing. I really hope both of them will be a little bit help to you to know something about Chinese culture and to improve your Chinese Listening Level.

The breeze ah, you are blowing lightly, the singing ah, you are flying quickly, please take my heart with you, flying to the garden, Ah... ah flying to the garden. Coming soon, my beloved one, we are working and singing together forever.
Ah...ah... we are working and singing together forever.
