Hi,Dear Friends
 How are you? Did you have a good week? I do hope everything is well with you and had an easy weekend.
This week, except working on my daily jobs in the company, I read many things about the companies, that are listed in Globe 500, for preparing my researching report. So originally, I would like to write something about what I have learned from them, especially the No.1 in 2006 -- Exxon Mobile.
I changed my idea because of some questions from some friends -- why I did not talk anything about my "love life" --and I doubt whether it is true what I have done and written on my web site . So I would like to write something new according to something that has jumped into my mind: "Life Can Be Created, Fate Can Be Changed". The secret is to start to work from the least thing, to work on anything we are working continuously. When we have really improved ourselves as a tall phoenix tree, then the most beautiful phoenix bird will certainly fly to us... Love is same.
About 14 years ago, when I came back from the verge of death ( After a doctor had given me a wrong diagnosis that my health would be worse and worse and would not be recovered again, then I chose to finish my life and my happy marriage, there had not had a wedding yet. For I did not want to bring any trouble to the people who loved me and I loved them ), I just came to the totally new and strange city with one bachelor degree -- I could not find a job and I had to worry where I would live in the night time. After 14 years, when I am running in the golden sunshine with light steps and an optimistic psychology, every morning with the title -- vice general manager, assistant general manager and editor in chief, who has published 12 professional books and 4 translated books, many web sites and newspaper pages, with a doctoral degree, some awards by the city and the nation, who has been invited 17 times by the other companies with a higher salary and position… Just 4 years ago, when I started to learn music and art in my free time, both of my art and music teachers doubted whether I could keep it for 3 months, but now, I still go on singing and painting on every Saturday and Wednesday night. I have written 57 pieces of my own music and I have painted hundreds of pictures! 20 years ago, when I had my baby son, I could not imagine how I could raise him to grow up alone, but now, he has been an international student in a Western country for more than 4 years...
Everything is getting better and better, everything is sunny in my heart and in my life! Then where are they from? What is the secret to have all these things? My answer is: to live and work from every thing that we are doing with a healthy psychology, to pursue a great dream with a work down to earth day and day
So now, I do really "thank" the doctor, who had given me a wrong diagnosis. It is the death that I had in experience and that made me realize, that anything in the matter world is not important. What I should cherish is the life itself and I try to do my best to make it to be more meaningful, even though it is short...That is why I did everything that the company asked me to do and worked harder than the others. From 1992 to 2002 I worked every week more then 90 hours. I did want to make my life to be longer by working over time.
I am so lucky that my health has totally recovered and I have got so many things that I had not expected. I have a lovely son, a successful career, a comfortable life, a healthy body and a optimistic psychology...
Life can really be created and fate can really be changed. The key is to work down to earth on everything that we are working on, with a pure heart and keep it continuously…

Shirley Created Art -- Chinese Xieyi -- 0106: Summer
This is my second pheasant ( the first one is here ), and the first time I learned to paint a morning glory with a brush directly. My teacher gave me 85 marks and thought that I should not make the flowers over and below in the same line, I should make them on different line, then the picture will have more changing. I do agree with it. Also I do not think that I have painted the right wing of this bird well -- I was not allowed to make any draft before I painted as usual. So I could not master my brushes well yet and the wing seems like a little bit longer. How do you think of this picture, do you like it?

Shirly Sung China (Inner Mongolian) Folk Song--040: Sunrise In the Grassland
Saturday is the 4th anniversary of learning to sing since 2002 -- a memorable year. In July, my only child, whom I had raised for 15 years became an international student abroad. In August, I got my doctoral degree and my best friend and my son’s father got marry with the other. In October, I published my 16th book and in November, my elder brother passed away, when he was 48. I could not respond them soon. I realized that I must adjust myself and re-think the meaning of life and re-design my own life. I slowed down my steps and started my music learning on November 25, 2002. Now, I have learned three kinds of songs and I have written 57 pieces of my own music. Music and art learning has helped me to become a fresh person with a young, healthy heart and many smiles...

Chinese Classical Poem 0067 & Shirley Created Music-0057: Qiuye Qu -- A song of Autumn Night
First time, until Sunday, I had not written any new music yet. I was too busy to write. Anyway, at about 8:00pm, I decided to write and to match this poem. It writes a feeling of a lady to her husband. In a long autumn night, with a water clock, she was making up clothes for her husband far away, when she looked up to the moon in the clouds and heard the songs of the insects outside of the window, during the whole night, she could not help to pray, it is never frosty, because she has not sent the clothes that she had made for him...I do hope that my poem comments, music and singing will be a little bit help to you to know Chinese culture.

Friends--003: Ms.Mary M.-- My Best Vocal Music Teacher
On the 4th anniversary of my music learning, I would like to write something for my vocal music teacher and one of my best friends ? Ms. Ma. To remember what she has done for me with a so serious and so responsible style in all of her Saturday nights in the past 4 years. I do feel that I am so lucky person to meet her and have her as my vocal music teacher. I do hope that she is successful on her career and be happy and healthy on her life forever.

Anyway I would really like to do a little bit things with what I have learned to make this little web site to beAn Electronic Bridge Of Culture Exchange, Friendship, and Language Learning. During the process to help the others and to improve myself.
