Hi,Dear Friends
 How are you? Have you started a wonderful new week? I hope you have.
I am in my summer vacation right now, but I am busier than usual. I have written a design proposal for my new web site 3 times and I have discussed it with a company and my work partners twice. I do not think it is good enough yet, therefore, I will make a new discussion with them once more. I do hope that we will sign an agreement and entrust the company to develop the web site before I go to Guangzhou.
Jinan University Press in Guangzhou is taking charge of a job relates to Chinese culture in the world in a Reading Event of Guangdong Province. They have arranged a time for me to make a speech and to show my paintings, music and poetry for 1.5 hours.
Then I hope that I will be able to arrange a time to go to the hospital before I start a new travel since I had paid the deposit for my hospitalization in the end of April,2013.
So, instead of attending a reunion with my former doctoral classmates this evening, I went to a company to take back 20 of my paintings that I had sent to mount/decorate. Among them there is the painting that I had painted for 29 days and also include the 12 paintings in my new book. I fixed them to be a long scroll Nov 9, 2012; then I split them August 12, 2013. :-) There were/are so many feelings could/cannot be described by language. It was really a good process to improve myself.
Then, tonight, I accompanied one of my former classmates Amy to have a dinner and arranged her to live in my guestroom at my home. She had settled down with her American husband in USA, but she came back China for her husband's jobs in China.
Right now, when both of Amy and I are working on our respective computers in the sitting room and my bookroom, I cannot help thinking of my study life at Missouri State University, USA, and thinking of my kind professors, tutors and friendly Springfield people, missing the lovely squirrels in the campus, the singing birds on the trees and the colored flowers by the road between the school and my home. Especially, I cannot forget, just on that land, I became an artist first time, found my developing road and made sure to go on a cross-culture and comprehensive art road, to help more people in the world with what I have learned and I would like to study.
So, since I left for China from the university last time May 26, 2010, entered in the best art schools in China since Nov 26, 2010, I have been keeping studying while fighting with the sickness in a quite hard situation in Beijing. Completed more than 300 new pictures, published a new book and a new DVD, had a new art exhibition, offered 42 free Chinese poetry and painting courses at about 10 schools in the other two American Cities... During the process, I had been wishing to go back Springfield and Missouri State University, to do something for the local people, to return their good directions, education, help and supports.
However, I was always in a hurry, so that I could not attend all of the invitations during my visiting time, and I could not really arranging any time to fly back to Springfield and Missouri State University when I worked in USA in 2011 and 2013, so that I do have a feeling that the connection between Springfield and I, between Missouri State University and I has changed weaker and weaker. I am really worrying about the connection that was strong 3 years ago will be broken in the near future because of the separation for a too long time
So, even though I just came back from America in the end of May, 2013 and even though the travel cost will not be low, I will certainly go back to Springfield and Missouri State University in my summer vacation. To offer some free Chinese poetry and painting courses at some high /middle / elementary schools and hopefully, at 1 or 2 universities, while to have an art exhibition somewhere.
Therefore, today, I have bought some special Chinese paper, 60 Chinese brushes (30 of them for painting lines of Chinsee Baimiao and Gongbi paintings, 30 of them for painting Chinese Xieyi paintings)for my American students and friends in my classrooms in Springfield or near Springfield, as I had done for the other students and friends in Kentucky in 2011 and 2013.
I would really like to enhance the good connection with my school and the local people via the special long distance and earnest travel with all my sincerity, to listen to the feedback, direction on my cross-culture study, research and exploration. To improve the second book and DVD of the series of books...
If you or your school, organization is in Springfield, or near Springfield, MO, USA, if you wish me to have an art exhibition in your place, to offer some free Chinese poetry and painting courses for your students and the local people, please connect me as soon as possible, so that I arrange a time for you before I start my travel. After all, in Sep, 2011, after I made a speech at a seminar, I got 10 invitations, but my time just allowed me to go to 6 and I had to offer courses 8 times at a school within one day; and in May, 2013, my planned 11 courses was added to be 25, but my time was just allow me to perform 24...
