Hi,Dear Friends
How are you? Have you had a good week and weekend? I do hope you are well and I do hope the friend greeting from me from far away China will bring you a big smile. :-)
Today, March 19, 2006 is the time that my art learning enters 4th year and also I have learned music for 3 years and 4 months.
It is fun that just 3 years ago, I was a 120% professional woman and I worked for about 15 hours daily and I thought that would be my life style. However, in 2002, many things happened to me and changed my life from then: July, my only family whom I had depended on each other for survival for 15 years went abroad. August, I got my doctoral degree. October, my first translated series with 4 books was published. October, a most important friend left from me forever. November, my elder brother was dead when he was only 48 years old. December, the company that I had worked for it for 10 years and me as an employee were sold together to the other company鈥�
Things happened so fast that I couldn鈥檛 respond soon. Anyway, the first thing that I realized was that life is so weak and life is too short, I had to slow down my step to re-think of the meaning of life and to re-plan my last a half life. During the thinking, I started to pursue my dreams from my childhood: Nov. 2002, I started to learn vocal music. Mar, 2003, I re-started to learn painting. Aug, 2003, I became a driver first time. Sep, 2004, I set up my own web site. May, 2005, I re-started to study Chinese classical language and literature that I was majored for 5 years and I taught on it for 9 years and I started to help foreign friends to learn Chinese. Sep, 2005, I started to create my own music. This week, March, 2006, I started to learn something about blog. : -)
Art, music, photography, language and literature and the great natuer have changed me as a fresh person with a peaceful heart and young psychology and have made my heart wider, more tolerant and happier. I started to see the world with a totally new view and in my heart there is full of the grateful to the others and to the world. Every day, I feel the beautiful from the nature and I get inspiration from here and there, and I try to create something new and beauty with my own works...
I am proud of myself as a woman to live in the world. Every morning, when I run or walk in the golden sunshine, I often feel that I was only 25 years old, next years I would be 15 years old... :-)

Chinese Xieyi--067(Flower & Bird):Do You Enjoy Her Bamboo Leaves? :-)
Instead of coloring my birds, first time, I learned to paint them with Chinese ink only. My art teacher did not allow me to change the brushes鈥� size and asked me complete this picture with same size brushers -- even when I painted the eyes of the birds for training me to have a high art skill... :-) During I was working, my teacher said that my leaves of the bamboos just liked some claws of roosters so that I made a joke that maybe for I had not had dinner before having lesson, so that I lacked the power to paint the leaves鈥� : - )

Chinese Classical Poem--0036: Full Spring Scenery In the Garden Can not Be Closed
This is a very famous poem to admire spring. The poet went to visit a friend and latter was not available; anyway, when he found a branch of red apricot flowers was coming out of the wall, he thought the beautiful spring scenery in the garden. Just the last two lines: "Full spring scenery in the garden can not be closed, a branch of red apricot flowers has come out of the wall"makes this poem has been come down for over 800 years. I have written a piece of music to match it and hope you enjoy it.

Chinese Art and Folk Song--0015: To Be Honest With You...
When I heard this song several years ago, I could not help to weep silently for it expressed out my heart as well. For some responsibilities to the public on my shoulders when we found a new career, I had no time and energy as most of women to involve myself into my own life in an especial term even though I also loved my family members and cared for my friends. Someone made a joke that I was living in the moon and did not eat the human being's food, but, I do not regret until now. I have got so much from the lost.

Chinese in Daily Life-0017: (Sentence:102--107):How to Call One's Relatives 01:"Uncle"
-- Chinese Language Custom 02: "Uncle" Has to Be Expressed With Some Different Characters
Last week, we learned how to call one's family members. This week, I would like to tell you how Chinese call a relative ? Uncle. In English, uncle can point many people -- the brother of one's mother or father, and the husband of one's aunt. In Chinese these relatives can not be expressed with one word. They have to be called with different words. I do hope what I have done is a little bit help to you and your Chinese learning.

I am just a learner on art, music, English and the work on the web site. Anyway, I would really like to do a little bit things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be An Electronic Bridge Of Culture Exchange, Friendship, and Language Learning. During the process to help the others and to improve myself. :-)
