A Short Note -- Shirley's 347th Friendly Greeting from Beijing, April 8, 2012

Hi,Dear Friends

How are you? Are you enjoying your weekend? I do hope you are and have a good weekend.

Now I am writing to you at home in Shenzhen.

Instead of attending the lesson of painting from the nature in Taihang Mountain, I came back home to see my doctors.

In the past 2 days, I went to the hospitals 4 times, to do various checks. I will go back to the hospital to see my doctors with a part of the check results on my bones next week, and then I will go back Beijing to wait for the most result of these checks.

Thursday night, when I went out of the Arrival Hall of the Shenzhen International Airport at 11:00pm., I felt so nice for the humid air, the warm weather (26 C. degrees) and the polite service of the taxi driver in the rain.

The funny thing was: I was in the furs in Beijing 3 hours ago, the driver was in the short sleeve shirt in Shenzhen at the same day. :- )

Since I entered my home in the midnight, the feeling " comfortable, relaxed and sleepy " has been lasting until now, so, instead of performing so many plans that I made in Beijing, except seeing my doctors and painting in the garden for a short time, I have been sleeping...

I am too sleepy to do anything else or to see anyone else yet, even though I will go back Beijing in 2 days. :-)

I do have a feeling that sleeping should be the best medicine to help me to overcome the sickness. :-)

In the short 2 days, I have also felt something good and bad.

The good news is:

-- Some service in Shenzhen is still the first class. One of my TV re-started to work as soon as I called the CATV company; the problem on the other TV was resolved within 12 hours.

-- Everyone can make an appointment with a doctor ahead for 7 days via 114 or the other special telephone call.

-- A former classmate called me and invited me to work in Zhuhai once more...

-- I did feel the beauty everywhere, even though in the garden that I am living in, there are so many beautiful flowers and plants. The problem is that I was too busy to pay attention to these beautiful things around of me; since I have realized this already, I should slow down my steps, to see the roses by the road, then maybe the slow steps will bring me fast progress no matter on my study or my life quality?

The bad news is:

-- All the doctors that I want to see next week have been made appointments ahead 7 days already; I am not sure how I can see my doctors before I go to the airport. It is more difficult to see my doctors than before...

-- The prices are soaring; just the taxi's fuel surcharge has been soared 100% than 2 months ago...

I am just a student on Art of Painting, Music, English and Management, to work on the web site in my free time. I would really like to do a few things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be an Electronic Bridge of Inter-Art & Cross - Culture Exchange, Chinese Language Learning & Friendship Making.
