Hi,Dear Friends
How are you? I do hope that every thing is well with you and have had a good weekend.
It is hard to describe this week of mine. In the short several days, I have dealt with a big mistake in my son's studying life abroad, had a long distance traveling from Australia to China, worked in the company, attended an English training, painted pictures, watched the Olympics Games, and during whole of the processes, I was sick with a fever, until I had to sleep down for 2 nights and 2 days. Finally, my fever went away and I re-started to work on my web site Sunday night.
This week, the biggest thing in China is the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. As soon as I arrived at Hong Kong Airport, I felt strong Olympic atmosphere with much more strict security checking. Wednesday morning, when I entered our building office, except the regular security checking as same as the airport, at least 3 guards and 3 clerks who wore the red signs of "Olympic Security" stood by the gate to check our employee's cards and everyone's bag had to be checked by a machine. The first duty of mine was to take charge of the safety of our business jobs during the Olympic Games.
As all Chinese, I am excited that Olympic Games started in Beijing Friday night and I do wish it will be successful. So, even though my fever reached up 38.7 C degree so that I felt very cold and I had to wear in a thick nightdress as I did in the winter, I kept watching the opening ceremony as long as I could open my eyes and even, I made a note on the bed.
I was proud of China and the great Chinese history when I watched the drum dance of Fou, the painting process by the athletes, the great invents of Chinese characters, powder, compass, the Great Wall, Chinese opera, silk roads of land and sea, tea, china, music, Taiji and so on; I was touched by the wisdoms of Confucius -- Zhao wen dao, xisi zhuyi (If we could learn something new in the morning, even though we die in the night, that would be something deserves to do), Sihai zhinei jie xiongli ye ( All of the people in the world are family)... I wish the dream of making our world full of the peaceful, friendship and harmonious to be true and I could not help applause when the birds of peace, kites, green birds, smile faces and the Fei tian ( flying people in the ancient Chinese fables ) were flying in the sky; I enjoyed the beautiful lyric and rhythm of the 2008 Olympic Theme Song by Chinese pop musician Liu Huan and British musician Sarah Brightman.
I am happy that China has gotten the most gold medals until now and I do wish all of athletes make their best achievement.
Do you enjoy watching 2008 Beijing Olympic Games? What is your feeling about it?

I would really like to do a little bit things with what I have learned to make this little web site to be an Electronic Bridge of Culture Exchange, Language Learning & Friendship. To help the others while to improve myself.
