Hi,Dear Friends
How are you? Have you had a good week? I do hope that you are well and have a relaxed weekend.
Now it is 3:13am Sunday morning on my side. In 3 hours, I will accompany my son to travel to Lijiang, Shangrila and Lugu Lake in Yunnan Province for about 1 week.
I am so happy that my son reached in Shenzhen from Sydney via Shanghai and Wuxi, both of us will have 9 days together during his 16 days' holiday.
So, no matter how busy I was, I tried and will try to find some time to accompany him.
When I am writing here, I suddenly have an idea to write this letter with the title 'One Day of Mine' and to list what I did yesterday:
08:30am: entered my office, read 4 newspapers quickly for making sure what is the most important news, that our TV, web sites and magazine must care and research.
09:10am: dealt with a problem relating the database and statistic about the stock market...
10:00am: attended the daily meeting of the managers, to listen to their working reports and to deal with the problems that they mentioned out and to arrange someone to work on those questions, problems and so on, give them my ideas.
10:30am: attended the first meeting of a new project group, to be appointed to the second leader to lead the group to fix a backup system of our business and technology systems.
11:00am: to organize the core people in the project group to fix a work plan...
11:30am: to correct the files for a Game of the Speaking of our company on Saturday as a corporation culture activity.
12:15am: left for home to cook for my son
12:50am: to go to the airport to pick up my son
3:00pm: to take my son somewhere to deal with something
4:30Pm: to have an interview with a candidate for an edition position
5:00pm: to hold a meeting with the speakers on Saturday
5:15pm: to hold another meeting with the service people for the Speaking Game
5:30pm: to deal with a problem in our cooperation project with an American company
7:00pm. to cook and to have dinner with my son
8:30pm.: to rent a MTV room for my son and to accompany him to sing his favorite songs
0:12am: to deal with some new problem that had happened in the database system of the cooperated project.
2:15am: The problem was resolved.
This is just one of my days... Being busy and tight... Anyway, no matter how busy I am, I was smiling and felt happy and comfortable during the work. Meanwhile, I did want to take a little bit time for my son... I do feel that the biggest achievement in whole of the life is that I have a son... So, I will put down my work and I will take him to enter the great nature to enjoy the beautiful of the world.
I will think of you and all of the friends who have come to my little web site and wish you have a happy new week...
Now, I have only 20 munites, I have to go, see you next time.

Shirley Created Combined Art -- 005: The Dinging from the Mountains
This is my 5th exploring to make picture, poem, music and calligraphy together. It is also the first time that I created a landscape totally independence. I mean that I had painted my landscape by the watching of my teacher in my art lessons and also I had painted a landscape according to a picture or a photo before. But now, I am learning to create totally alone and I do enjoy the creative process. I thought for two days. Then I got up at about 6:30 on Wednesday, then I came back home to paint for about 30 minutes in my lunch time. Then, I completed it in the night, after my music lesson. I made my music lesson ahead for I wanted to accompany my son on Saturday night. Oh, I will go to have a traveling in 2 hours and I will learn from the nature and try to paint something more for you and also for myself. How do you see this picture? Do you enjoy it?

Shirley Sung Chinese Art Song--0023: Ah, China's Land
I re-learned this song on Wednesday, for I wanted to accompany my son on Saturday and also I would like to visit a teacher who is from Shanghai Music College on Thursday, before my son came to Shenzhen to visit me. I sang a song for the teacher and showed what I had done with my music for the classical poems. She was very interested in it and she and her husband, who is playing piano with me, have a dinner after the first meeting... The new teacher would like me to learn something more on how to accompany with piano, to sing and to write a song... So, she has decided to teach me with 50% price of her students and she would like to introduce me to her professor, who is in the Shanghai Music College, to help me... Are you happy for me? I wish you are.
