LISTEN TO SHIRLEY TO SINGING THE SONG
A funny thing is that until today when I am writing this essay for the Chinese Jiangsu folk What A Beautiful Jasmine , I just realize that I have been calling this flowers to be Zizhi flowers, instead of its real name "Jasminum sambac". Also, first time, I realize that Jasminum sambac flower is Yangzhous City Song. :-) Meanwhile, a new idea jumps into my mind -- maybe when I am introducing some Chinese folk music, I should also introduce this place for you as a background and a travel place. :-) So, if you are also interested in Chinese culture, you can help me to develop this idea? :-)
This song Jasminum sambac has had a 300 years history. If you are familiar to Italian Musician Giacomo Puccini's opera Turandot, then, you have known this song. : - )
