 Do you like a grassplot or a wide plain with green grass? Do you admire the strong vital force of the little grass? I do. I more admire the little grass' strong life force. No matter how cold and how hard winter it is experiencing, as soon as the spring has come, it will quickly grow up and wears the land a beautiful green clothes...
In thousands and thousands Chinese works about grass, the most famous line is "Ye Huo Shao Bu Jin, Chun Feng Chui You Sheng -- The wild fire can not burn the grass exhaustively, as soon as the spring breeze is blowing, they will grow up and cover the field again". So, it is very popular and be recited by the Chinese children generation and generation. It is often used to admire something strong with the great quality that does not bend under a huge pressure and to keep a strong vital force.
The two lines are from the poem Fu De Go Yuan Cao Song Bie by Tang Dynasty poet Bei Juyi.
This poem has 8 lines, the first 4 lines are popular.
So,I had written a piece of music to match it in Dec 12, 2005. For improving the quality of my music and my singing, I have re-edited the text, music and re-sung it.
I really hope that my effort will be a little bit help to you to learn Chinese culture and language.
