Learning the Main Meaning of the Song &Lyrics

This is my 20th Combined Paintingthat I created for Chinese Classical Poetry. It is also my 348th painting since 2003 and the 34th painting that I have painted in 2008.The difference is that this is also a Chinese art song that I have learned in my music lesson. :-)

I started this picture as a peony practice Tuesday night this week. At that time, I just wanted to make a practice of my peony painting. I did not think of that I had done a good job. So, I stopped anf threw it as rubbish after I just completed the peony part. Friday evening, my teacher saw it and thought that I had done a good job to start it and I should complete it continuously.

So, tonight, when I was working on my music, I suddenly had an ideal to complete this picture with the calligraphy of this song also the poem, so, I did it and plus some yellow flowers as its background.

How do you think of it? Are you smiling when you know its creating background now? :-)

MAIN MEANING OF THE SONG(LYRIC)

A Flower in the Haze

It's a flower, it isn't a flower,
It's fog, it isn't fog.
(it) comes at midnight
goes at dawn,
comes as a spring dream,
cannot stay for awhile,
goes as the morning clouds
cannot be found anywhere.
